The Walhalla Public Library has books for readers of all ages, computers and printers available for your use, and a great selection of DVD’s and reference materials. If you are interested in the rich and colorful history of Walhalla and the surrounding area, or are tracking down your family’s genealogical history, the North Dakota Collection has priceless reference materials available.

Grab a book from our collection, or bring your favorite book in and enjoy the cozy chairs in the back for a nice, relaxing atmosphere to read quietly and escape from the day.

We have puzzles for 4-8 year olds to come put together. They are 100 pieces. Come on in and check them out!

We are having a Bracelet Making Class on Tuesday, July 30th at 3:00. It is for ages 5 and up unless you have someone to help you. Hope to see you at the Library. Mark it on your Calendar!!!

LOOKING BACK AT THE PAST….

The library would like to invite anyone who is interested in the past to come on in and look at all the scrapbooks we have dated back to 1950!! They were donated from Lynn Soeby. They include Newspaper articles, Pictures, Wedding Announcements, and other materials. The Nursing Home will be joining us that day, so if you just want to come in to visit that would be great. We are planning it for Wednesday August, 14th at 1:30, so mark it on your calendars. Hope to see you at the Library.

We are excited to bring the Thinking Money for kids Program Kit to the Walhalla Public Library. We encourage parents to visit the library to check-out a Playaway Launchpad tablet to bring home. These brand new tablets are preloaded with fun financial education games. And stay tuned for some creative financial education games for kids to play at the library during the coming months.

The Library has Wonderbooks on hand for checkout.
